This Privacy Policy explains how X9 Studios Inc. ("we", "us") handles information in connection with Lumen IPTV — our IPTV player for Mac (the "App") — and the website lumeniptv.app (the "Site"). Our approach is simple: Lumen is built to keep your data on your own device.

The short version

• Lumen does not collect, sell, or share your personal data.
• Your playlists and provider credentials stay on your Mac.
• Lumen connects only to the IPTV sources you add — never to us.
• We include no channels or content; Lumen is only the player.

Information the App handles

When you add an M3U / M3U8 playlist or sign in with Xtream Codes, the App stores that information — including any server address, username, and password — locally on your device. It is used solely to fetch your channel list and play your streams. This data is not transmitted to X9 Studios Inc. and is not accessible to us.

To load channels and play video, the App connects directly from your Mac to the playlist URL or provider you configured. Those third-party providers operate independently of us and under their own terms and privacy practices.

Analytics & tracking

The App contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

Information the Site handles

The Site is a static informational page. If you use the contact form, the name, email, and message you submit are sent to us at info@x9studios.com via the form-delivery service FormSubmit, solely so we can reply to you. The Site is hosted on Vercel, which may process standard server request logs (such as IP address) for security and operational purposes. We do not set advertising or analytics cookies.

Children's privacy

Lumen is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

Because your playlists and credentials live on your device, you can remove them at any time by deleting the relevant playlist within the App, or by removing the App. To request deletion of any message you sent us via the contact form, email info@x9studios.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
